Built here, by Pawlett

It started with a field full of stones.

The Pavilion began with local people deciding the village needed somewhere of its own for sport, events and getting together. Volunteers cleared the field, raised money through fetes and car boot sales, and kept pushing until the idea became a real place.

It was a family effort in the most literal sense. Grown-ups organised it; children mucked in too, including taking turns on the car park.

The Pavilion wasn't dropped into Pawlett. Pawlett made it.

Come for the sport, the bar, a function or just because you fancy seeing who's about. Children are welcome with their grown-ups. We're a pet free site: trained assistance dogs are always welcome, other dogs and pets aren't, see the Pavilion rules.
